The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dariusz Polkoski hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute, Wasyl Ochylski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 6 played minutes Gryf Sicienko got a freekick which was hit by Borys Andrychowski. Gryf Sicienko's Konrad Kolano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wit Piwowarski in the 17th minute of play. A hard shot 18 in the game by Wasyl Ochylski from a close distance when the talented Janusz Osowski managed to make a qualified save. Margareth's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Wasyl Ochylski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gryf Sicienko's supporters rose to their feet, but Wasyl Ochylski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Janusz Osowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Konrad Kolano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wit Piwowarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Polkoski in the 26th minute of play forced Gryf Sicienko's goalkeeper Konrad Kolano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dariusz Polkoski to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dariusz Poniewaz during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 minutes of play, Gryf Sicienko's Wasyl Ochylski made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Janusz Osowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Margareth played a much better game than Gryf Sicienko and deserved their victory. The Gryf Sicienko players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
