Spectators: 7169 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wojciech Sniegowski got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Kosmos Wroclaw booed when Heranstal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Pierz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute of the match Kosmos Wroclaw got a corner. Heranstal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Beniamin Gondek ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kosmos Wroclaw's Wasyl Cisek was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wincent Szostak in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Wojciech Sniegowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Wincent Szostak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Daniel Ludwa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Heranstal's Wincent Szostak. Wincent Szostak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Daniel Ludwa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Daniel Ludwa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincent Szostak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Lucjan Pawlak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wojciech Sniegowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Wojciech Sniegowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heranstal's Lucjan Pawlak got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Lucjan Pawlak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heranstal's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucjan Pawlak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cyryl Domala breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucjan Pawlak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyryl Domala having to interfere. If Lucjan Pawlak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Korneliusz Furgat hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Heranstal's Wincent Szostak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wojciech Sniegowski in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Lucjan Pawlak made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Lucjan Pawlak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Ludwa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wincent Szostak having to interfere. Wincent Szostak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wojciech Sniegowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Lucjan Pawlak charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucjan Pawlak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 59 minutes into the match, Kosmos Wroclaw's Beniamin Gondek broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Wojciech Sniegowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute of the match, Daniel Ludwa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wincent Szostak was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Heranstal's Lucjan Pawlak got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wojciech Sniegowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Wincent Szostak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Heranstal's Wincent Szostak got control of the ball when Gilbert Brodzki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucjan Pawlak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Cyryl Domala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cyryl Domala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucjan Pawlak, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. If Wawrzyniec Pliszka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucjan Pawlak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyryl Domala having to interfere. In the 90th minute of the match, Wojciech Sniegowski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wincent Szostak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With an all-out effort, Kosmos Wroclaw's Wincent Szostak threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wojciech Sniegowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 95 minutes, Daniel Ludwa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kosmos Wroclaw's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Ludwa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Kosmos Wroclaw supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kosmos Wroclaw would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
