The audience was convinced that Kazimierz Pionek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bartosz Czempa was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Gajle SA's Bartosz Czempa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kazimierz Pionek in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rudka's zone, Dominik Skikiewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edward Hodas came out of the goal and Dominik Skikiewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Kazimierz Pionek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rudka's supporters rose to their feet, but Kazimierz Pionek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartosz Czempa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Rudka booed when Gajle SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miromir Kajfasz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gajle SA's Andrzej Filipowski got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Rudka could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gajle SA throughout the match.
