54 minutes into the match, Marian Gotfryd had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucjan Latocha. Krynka's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marian Gotfryd was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. A collision led to Krynka getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Marian Gotfryd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Lucjan Latocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 minutes of play, KS Piast Nowa Ruda's Lech Gibowski made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucjan Latocha was left in no man's land by his defense there! KS Piast Nowa Ruda's Lech Gibowski got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that KS Piast Nowa Ruda were the better team. KS Piast Nowa Ruda's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
