Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zachariasz Walkowski started the match with the kick off. Jakub Gmoch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Arendarski having to interfere. Iwo Sienkowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dariusz Arendarski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Dariusz Arendarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwo Sienkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After 23 minutes, Wlodzimierz Frankowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ulanowice SA and the Sparta players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Sparta a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edward Prusek, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ulanowice SA's Herbert Ciupierdo. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Sienkowski in the 31st minute of play forced Sparta's goalkeeper Dariusz Arendarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dariusz Arendarski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Iwo Sienkowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 34 minute of play. Dariusz Arendarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwo Sienkowski in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Sparta getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Tomasz Maziarski hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Sparta's Radoslaw Dulemba got a free kick in the 48th minute. Dariusz Arendarski acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 49th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Wlodzimierz Frankowski. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iwo Sienkowski was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute Iwo Sienkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliusz Siembab in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dariusz Arendarski saved Sparta from getting behind. Dariusz Arendarski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliusz Siembab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 minutes of play Sparta's Tomasz Maziarski was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes into the game, Iwo Sienkowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Dariusz Arendarski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th minute, Gilbert Orlicki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jakub Gmoch in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dariusz Arendarski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 81 minutes, Radoslaw Dulemba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sparta and the Ulanowice SA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Ulanowice SA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sparta had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
