Zbyszek Starogardzki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witomir Domeradzki, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. If Arkadiusz Glogowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arkadiusz Glogowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zbyszek Starogardzki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arkadiusz Glogowski's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. L E C H Poznań's Dominik Ciborek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save L E C H Poznań from getting a goal against them. The wind increased when Witomir Domeradzki made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Witomir Domeradzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszek Starogardzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Hutnik Warszawa's zone, Arkadiusz Glogowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbyszek Starogardzki came out of the goal and Arkadiusz Glogowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Tanek Cieslak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arkadiusz Glogowski during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hutnik Warszawa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugeniusz Mlekodaj was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lucjan Rutkowski struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Dominik Ciborek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hutnik Warszawa. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
