The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Brudnicki during the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zdzislaw Zagrobelny in the 43rd minute of play forced Fc Kapcie's goalkeeper Damazy Jaruzelski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Bzyki's Stasio Krzynowek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Dobilas in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teofil Dobilas made a kick off. Damazy Jaruzelski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Napoleon Mis in the 53rd minute of the match. Damazy Jaruzelski came out of the goal and Napoleon Mis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fc Kapcie's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
