Wincenty Sadlowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Wawrzyniec Mockiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wincenty Sadlowski having to interfere. Wincenty Sadlowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Mockiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Mieszko Sebzda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Indyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wawrzyniec Mockiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wincenty Sadlowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sylwester Sedzikowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Arsenal Rokitnica's Ryszard Indyk dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Zbigniew Klocko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Mieszko Sebzda made a huge save. After 31 minutes of play, Górnik Zabrze's Sylwester Sedzikowski made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wincenty Sadlowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Arsenal Rokitnica's Pawel Gondela got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Wincenty Sadlowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sylwester Sedzikowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 46th minute Wawrzyniec Mockiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincenty Sadlowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olaf Biegun to make the kick off. Górnik Zabrze's Olaf Biegun got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ryszard Indyk scored 3-4 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mieszko Sebzda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Górnik Zabrze played a much better game than Arsenal Rokitnica and deserved their victory. The Arsenal Rokitnica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
