Milosz Kosakowski hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Wincent Pisarczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Bernard Cielencki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 20 minutes on the clock, Lucjan Turek commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Real Madryt! Kazimierz Dziedziak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Bernard Cielencki made a huge save. Real Madryt's Bernard Cielencki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Czeslaw Gonsiewski in the 26th minute of play. Wincent Pisarczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Cielencki having to interfere. Bernard Cielencki made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Kazimierz Dziedziak sent off a good shot on target. 31 minutes into the match, Real Madryt's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Gonsiewski came free, but Bernard Cielencki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Kazimierz Dziedziak could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Bernard Cielencki however easily saved by the left post. In the 33rd minute, Czeslaw Gonsiewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wincent Pisarczyk in the 35th minute of play forced Real Madryt's goalkeeper Bernard Cielencki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dobromir Tusk might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernard Cielencki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dobromir Tusk ran back to his position shaking his head. Wincent Pisarczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lukasz Rakowicz's late challenge caught a Orzeł Toruń's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lukasz Rakowicz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Orzeł Toruń booed when Real Madryt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lukasz Rakowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kazimierz Dziedziak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Kazimierz Dziedziak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernard Cielencki. That made the score 3-0 in the 41 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Dobromir Tusk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernard Cielencki was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The Orzeł Toruń fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Orzeł Toruń's Dobromir Tusk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Czeslaw Gonsiewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Wincent Pisarczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orzeł Toruń's supporters rose to their feet, but Wincent Pisarczyk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernard Cielencki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Czeslaw Gonsiewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Florian Jaktorowo's late challenge caught a Orzeł Toruń's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florian Jaktorowo helped the player get up and apologised. Orzeł Toruń's Tobiasz Miazga was substituted for Arkadiusz Cichowski. Florian Jaktorowo hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Real Madryt defense, Wincent Pisarczyk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernard Cielencki. The Real Madryt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernard Cielencki should have stopped the shot. In the 82nd minute Czeslaw Gonsiewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernard Cielencki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dobromir Tusk in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernard Cielencki saved Real Madryt from getting behind. Bernard Cielencki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Czeslaw Gonsiewski in the 92nd minute of the match. After 94 minutes of play, Orzeł Toruń's Kazimierz Dziedziak made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernard Cielencki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Damian Munko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Orzeł Toruń had played much better football throughout.
