When Stefan Tomporowski came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Olchow SSA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Tomporowski couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Chlapowski in the 14th minute of play forced Olchow SSA's goalkeeper Jan Rakowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Olchow SSA's zone, Czeslaw Chlapowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wit Cymbal in the 45th minute of play forced Probeberg's goalkeeper Andrzej Bucyki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Olchow SSA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Probeberg were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bogdan Majewski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wit Cymbal in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrzej Bucyki saved Probeberg from getting behind. The Olchow SSA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
