In the 3rd minute, Izydor Miecznikowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wawrzyniec Jeziorkowski in the 8th minute of play forced Apoel FC Mariusz's goalkeeper Iwan Budzyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roland Marchefka struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Iwan Budzyn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Granica Chełm. After 15 played minutes Apoel FC Mariusz got a freekick which was hit by Arkadiusz Rode. Arkadiusz Rode kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Roland Marchefka struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Iwan Budzyn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Granica Chełm. Wawrzyniec Jeziorkowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Iwan Budzyn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, KS Granica Chełm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Marchefka to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Apoel FC Mariusz's zone, Wawrzyniec Jeziorkowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iwan Budzyn came out of the goal and Wawrzyniec Jeziorkowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iwan Budzyn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filip Rakiewicz went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute, Izydor Miecznikowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Apoel FC Mariusz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 34 minutes, Zula Czajkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Apoel FC Mariusz and the KS Granica Chełm players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zula Czajkowski hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Apoel FC Mariusz's Izydor Miecznikowski got a free kick in the 36th minute. After 39 played minutes Apoel FC Mariusz got a freekick which was hit by Arkadiusz Rode. Iwan Budzyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Rakiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Roland Marchefka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwan Budzyn having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, KS Granica Chełm's goal looked a bit too open when Teobald Czeszyk came free, but Emil Gecionis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KS Granica Chełm's Emil Gecionis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobald Czeszyk in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Filip Rakiewicz made the kick off in the second half. Emil Gecionis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izydor Miecznikowski in the 52nd minute of play. Emil Gecionis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arkadiusz Rode, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, KS Granica Chełm's Filip Rakiewicz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iwan Budzyn. Iwan Budzyn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Ryszard Hajduk hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Iwan Budzyn made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Filip Rakiewicz sent off a good shot on target. Iwan Budzyn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filip Rakiewicz went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Filip Rakiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Roland Marchefka managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Granica Chełm's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Marchefka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iwan Budzyn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filip Rakiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Iwan Budzyn made a huge save. Emil Gecionis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izydor Miecznikowski in the 79th minute of play. Iwan Budzyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Rakiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Beniamin Kostka made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by KS Granica Chełm's Roland Cebula. Filip Rakiewicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Iwan Budzyn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Roland Cebula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Granica Chełm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roland Cebula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iwan Budzyn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kryspin Chrzan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 89 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded KS Granica Chełm left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Apoel FC Mariusz.
