After a defensive mix-up in Wronki SA's zone, Olaf Karpinski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Pilipiec came out of the goal and Olaf Karpinski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dawid Majczyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wawrzyniec Orszak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Zjawin in the 14th minute. After having played for 16 minutes, Lech Prosowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wronki SA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lech Prosowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgar Zjawin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wawrzyniec Orszak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Zjawin in the 25th minute. Wawrzyniec Orszak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lech Prosowski in the 30th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Vancouver Canucks got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Dulka. Vancouver Canucks's Wawrzyniec Orszak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lech Prosowski in the 33rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olaf Karpinski in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dominik Pilipiec saved Wronki SA from getting behind. 46 minutes into the match, Vancouver Canucks's Iwan Rekawiczka broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Lech Prosowski made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norbert Awizo during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th minute, Wronki SA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ludomil Sokolski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Olaf Karpinski succeeded in the game's 77th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. In the 84th minute, Daniel Sokolski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vancouver Canucks's Wawrzyniec Orszak didn't even have to move. 87 minutes into the match, Edgar Zjawin notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Vancouver Canucks's Wawrzyniec Orszak. Wawrzyniec Orszak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ludomil Sokolski came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dominik Pilipiec could save by the left post. After having played for 91 minutes, Olaf Karpinski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vancouver Canucks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olaf Karpinski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Iwan Rekawiczka took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Dominik Pilipiec to make any attempt to save it. The Vancouver Canucks supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vancouver Canucks would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
