Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ksawery Pilarski got the match started through his kick off. In the 4thth minute of the game Ksawery Pilarski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Husaria Poznań's Radoslaw Borcz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Husaria Poznań's zone, Teobald Gierlach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Radoslaw Borcz came out of the goal and Teobald Gierlach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobald Gierlach got free with Radoslaw Borcz in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee ignored Husaria Poznań's protests and gave Pawel Rydz a yellow card for diving instead. Pawel Rydz hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Ksawery Pilarski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radoslaw Borcz having to interfere. In the 47th minute Ksawery Pilarski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radoslaw Borcz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
