In the 3rd minute of the match, Antoni Buczko tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Damazy Andrychowski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Stanislaw Dankowski struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Damazy Andrychowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Lambada. In the 7th minute Witold Mojsiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliusz Solecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16thth minute of the game Antoni Buczko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carrigtwohill's Damazy Andrychowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute, Witold Mojsiewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carrigtwohill fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in FC Lambada's zone, Fryderyk Nalaskowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureliusz Solecki came out of the goal and Fryderyk Nalaskowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fryderyk Nalaskowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliusz Solecki having to interfere. Antoni Buczko was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. FC Lambada's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. FC Lambada's Olaf Konieczny got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damazy Andrychowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoni Buczko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC Lambada's Sylwester Marud got a free kick in the 31st minute. 32 minutes into the game, Carrigtwohill's Witold Mojsiewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aureliusz Solecki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 35th minute, Olgierd Zabrzeski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fryderyk Nalaskowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Aureliusz Solecki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute Witold Mojsiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliusz Solecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aureliusz Solecki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antoni Pionek in the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the game, Carrigtwohill's Fryderyk Nalaskowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aureliusz Solecki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fryderyk Nalaskowski in the 47th minute of play forced FC Lambada's goalkeeper Aureliusz Solecki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC Lambada players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carrigtwohill were winning 0-3.

In the 54th minute, Witold Mojsiewicz made a precise shot to the right of Aureliusz Solecki. FC Lambada's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 59th minute, Carrigtwohill's Tobiasz Gecionis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tobiasz Gecionis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Carrigtwohill protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tobiasz Gecionis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 59th minute, one of Carrigtwohill:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carrigtwohill. If Antoni Pionek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, FC Lambada's Aureliusz Solecki got control of the ball when Witold Mojsiewicz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes in the game, Antoni Buczko dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Zbyszko Kapelski charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zbyszko Kapelski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Carrigtwohill getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Zbyszko Kapelski hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the match, FC Lambada's goalkeeper Aureliusz Solecki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Witold Mojsiewicz. 76 minutes into the match, Witold Mojsiewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aureliusz Solecki. FC Lambada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Witold Mojsiewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Fryderyk Nalaskowski scored 0-6 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aureliusz Solecki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Antoni Pionek took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Aureliusz Solecki to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Fryderyk Nalaskowski kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aureliusz Solecki. That made the score 0-8 in the 90 minute of play. After 96 minutes, Fryderyk Nalaskowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carrigtwohill and the FC Lambada players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 96 played minutes Carrigtwohill got a freekick which was hit by Fryderyk Nalaskowski. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Carrigtwohill walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
