But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Quintas couldn't finish the play. Szczepan Bronkala charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Szczepan Bronkala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of WKS ŚLĄSK WROCŁAW booed when F.C ZGRZYT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szczepan Bronkala didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the F.C ZGRZYT defense, Ignacio Quintas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zbigniew Zjawin. The F.C ZGRZYT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zbigniew Zjawin should have stopped the shot. When Lucjan Gongolewicz fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C ZGRZYT's protests and gave Lucjan Gongolewicz a yellow card for diving instead. Zbigniew Zjawin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ignacio Quintas went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Michele Casutt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Zbigniew Zjawin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th match minute, F.C ZGRZYT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kacper Limanowski to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacio Quintas got free with Zbigniew Zjawin in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Ignacio Quintas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iwan Czerny to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Ignacio Quintas made a precise shot to the right of Zbigniew Zjawin. F.C ZGRZYT's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. With a little luck, WKS ŚLĄSK WROCŁAW's Patryk Basaik got control of the ball when Krzysztof Limanowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zbigniew Zjawin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. If Michele Casutt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iwan Czerny scored 9-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zbigniew Zjawin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michele Casutt struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Zbigniew Zjawin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for WKS ŚLĄSK WROCŁAW.
