Eric Brummer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Tadeusz Latkiewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aivaras Adomavičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezary Bialakowski in the 9th minute of the match. Jakub Miarka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Latkiewicz in the 12th minute of the match. Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Aivaras Adomavičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cezary Bialakowski in the 15th minute of play. Zbyszek Topolski took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aivaras Adomavičius. The referee felt a red card was in order, 32 minutes into the game, when Zbigniew Penkalski put in a rough tackle. In the 32nd minute, Zbigniew Penkalski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute Cezary Bialakowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aivaras Adomavičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aivaras Adomavičius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kazimierz Chazon, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
If Zbyszek Topolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cezary Bialakowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Aivaras Adomavičius made a huge save. A collision led to Zawisza Bydgoszcz getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Iwan Pisarczyk hit a great ball. Tadeusz Latkiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakub Miarka having to interfere. The Zawisza Bydgoszcz fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Radgoszcz were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
