Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) LKS Śląsk Koszęcin's Stanislaw Kanczuszewski started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes LKS Śląsk Koszęcin got a freekick which was hit by Krzysztof Raschke. Syd Baret acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 3rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ignacy Siembab. Pankracy Jaszyna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wladyslaw Posadzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thommy Van den Bergh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pankracy Jaszyna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute Walery Bochynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Syd Baret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Syd Baret made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walery Bochynski in the 12th minute of play. Syd Baret was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Walery Bochynski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lech Ludwiczak in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Syd Baret prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 41 minutes into the match, Walery Bochynski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Syd Baret. LKS Śląsk Koszęcin's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walery Bochynski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilbert Skrzypiec during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Walery Bochynski took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Syd Baret to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Walery Bochynski to strike the kick off in the second half. If Stanislaw Kanczuszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute Walery Bochynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Syd Baret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Walery Bochynski in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Syd Baret prevented the ball from getting in the gole. MKS Słupno's Walery Bochynski got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Walery Bochynski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Syd Baret having to interfere. Walery Bochynski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Syd Baret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walery Bochynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walery Bochynski struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Syd Baret didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MKS Słupno. Syd Baret stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Walery Bochynski's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Walery Bochynski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. MKS Słupno walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
