When Motor Szczecin's Eugeniusz Walec in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 17th minute Zbigniew Mitus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomil Klejnowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Motor Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dawid Ciupierdo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Motor Szczecin's Dawid Ciupierdo got a free kick in the 19th minute. Mieszko Nakonieczny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Radomil Klejnowski made a huge save. Motor Szczecin's Dawid Ciupierdo got his second yellow card of the match in the 28th minute. The referee ordered Dawid Ciupierdo off the ground. Herbert Dankowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Borys Mielak in the 33rd minute of the match. If Leszek Ziombkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugeniusz Walec was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of LKS START booed when Motor Szczecin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borys Mielak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sylwester Gurgul, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 59th minute, Borys Mielak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Borys Mielaks short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Herbert Dankowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 64th minute Mieszko Nakonieczny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radomil Klejnowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Radomil Klejnowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbigniew Mitus, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Eugeniusz Walec in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Herbert Dankowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Herbert Dankowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, LKS START's goal looked a bit too open when Leszek Ziombkowski came free, but Herbert Dankowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Motor Szczecin could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than LKS START throughout the match.
