Kapi FC's Jacek Miazga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Andrzej Kaszubowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leszek Czermak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krisztián Hegyi couldn't finish the play. Andrzej Kaszubowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeusz Domala in the 88th minute. If Sergio Madrid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Krisztián Hegyi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Slawomir Wolczewski having to make a save. FC Po Rozgrzewce's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
