After some careless play in the Polonia Chodzież defense, Gwidon Moryl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Izydor Kondysar. The Polonia Chodzież fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Izydor Kondysar should have stopped the shot. The supporters of ŻÓŁTO-NIEBIESCY booed when Polonia Chodzież was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zdzislaw Narbut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Polonia Chodzież's Izydor Kondysar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Zakrzewski in the 25th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Orvar Offendahl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bogdan Zakrzewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the game, Cyryl Wicherek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polonia Chodzież's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ŻÓŁTO-NIEBIESCY the free kick. In the 42nd match minute, Polonia Chodzież was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyryl Wicherek to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the game, ŻÓŁTO-NIEBIESCY's Cristiano Shevchenko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Izydor Kondysar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The Polonia Chodzież players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ŻÓŁTO-NIEBIESCY were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wincent Paciuszko was the one to do the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Cristiano Shevchenko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polonia Chodzież's Izydor Kondysar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gwidon Moryl took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Izydor Kondysar. Izydor Kondysar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 58th minute, Wincent Paciuszko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Polonia Chodzież fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 61st match minute, ŻÓŁTO-NIEBIESCY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucjan Cytrynski to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute, Bogdan Zakrzewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ŻÓŁTO-NIEBIESCY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. In the 69th minute, ŻÓŁTO-NIEBIESCY's Cristiano Shevchenko ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Izydor Kondysar. Izydor Kondysar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. ŻÓŁTO-NIEBIESCY's Gwidon Sienkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessio Giannantonio in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bogdan Zakrzewski got free with Izydor Kondysar in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Izydor Kondysar made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Bogdan Zakrzewski sent off a good shot on target. Cyryl Wicherek hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, ŻÓŁTO-NIEBIESCY's Bartlomiej Harasimowicz tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Bartlomiej Harasimowicz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Izydor Kondysar, 1-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Shevchenko in the 94th minute of play forced Polonia Chodzież's goalkeeper Izydor Kondysar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Polonia Chodzież fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ŻÓŁTO-NIEBIESCY were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
