The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the game, Ponikwa's Pawel Limanowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Michal Cipinski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Olaf Drozdowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Kazimierz Zagrobelny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olaf Drozdowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazimierz Zagrobelny having to interfere. Olaf Drozdowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Kazimierz Zagrobelny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olaf Drozdowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32ndth minute of the game Robert Gargasz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KKS LECH JP's Michal Cipinski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Remigiusz Skoroda kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kazimierz Zagrobelny. That made the score 1-1 in the 35 minute of play. Michal Cipinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Gargasz in the 38th minute of play. After some careless play in the KKS LECH JP defense, Robert Gargasz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michal Cipinski. The KKS LECH JP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michal Cipinski should have stopped the shot. Michal Cipinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Limanowski in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Ponikwa were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Remigiusz Skoroda made the kick off in the second half. KKS LECH JP's Michal Cipinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pawel Limanowski in the 55th minute of play. After 58 minutes, Konrad Kostka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KKS LECH JP and the Ponikwa players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to KKS LECH JP getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Konrad Kostka hit a great ball. KKS LECH JP's Michal Cipinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save KKS LECH JP from getting a goal against them. Robert Gargasz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Cipinski having to interfere. Konrad Kostka was shown his second yellow card after 64 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Ponikwa booed when KKS LECH JP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konrad Kostka didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute of the match Ponikwa got a corner. KKS LECH JP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dariusz Chmelyk ran over to the corner to take the kick. Artur Kaczeniak tried in the game's 69th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Michal Cipinski. An annoying self made goal, 1-3. 71 minutes into the match, Pawel Limanowski notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of KKS LECH JP's Michal Cipinski. Michal Cipinski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th minute, Milosz Antoszewski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Michal Cipinski. The goal made the score 1-5. Milosz Antoszewski hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Milosz Antoszewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KKS LECH JP's Michal Cipinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save KKS LECH JP from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute of the match, Robert Gargasz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Michal Cipinski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ponikwa had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
