In the 24th minute, Zbyszek Paraszczuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Wasyl Pochorylo fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jagoszyce SSA's protests and gave Wasyl Pochorylo a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 28 minutes, Stefan Majerowicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jagoszyce SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefan Majerowicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dariusz Wyrostek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wasyl Pochorylo in the 31st minute of play. Gwidon Zacharek's late challenge caught a Jagoszyce SSA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A collision led to Jagoszyce SSA getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Zdzislaw Hejza hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Jagoszyce SSA's Remigiusz Tarasek seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Remigiusz Tarasek the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Jagoszyce SSA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Remigiusz Tarasek had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Munko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
