Wincent Okopny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Munko, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Niklasfähre SA's Jerzy Bochinski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wincent Okopny in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tomasz Frankowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dariusz Wyrostek having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomasz Frankowski made a kick off. If Tomasz Frankowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. With his leg Dariusz Wyrostek managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when WKS Piast Wrocław's Tomasz Frankowski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Robert Koczara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wincent Okopny. WKS Piast Wrocław's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antoni Oryniak in the 59th minute of play forced WKS Piast Wrocław's goalkeeper Wincent Okopny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Edmund Brudnicki made a precise shot to the right of Wincent Okopny. WKS Piast Wrocław's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 68 minutes into the match, Niklasfähre SA's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Ove Rosendahl came free, but Dariusz Wyrostek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, WKS Piast Wrocław's Tomasz Frankowski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dariusz Wyrostek. Niklasfähre SA's Dariusz Wyrostek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ove Rosendahl in the 87th minute of play. Tomasz Frankowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Dariusz Wyrostek made a huge save. Edward Munko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wincent Okopny having to interfere. WKS Piast Wrocław's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
