Zbyszek Budzynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. RKS Podkopki Szlachetne's Czeslaw Radziszewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save RKS Podkopki Szlachetne from getting a goal against them. RKS Podkopki Szlachetne's Czeslaw Radziszewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save RKS Podkopki Szlachetne from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Borys Cwojdak to strike the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes GKS Katowice got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Gmoch. 60 minutes into the match, GKS Katowice's goalkeeper Tobiasz Pierz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cyryl Traczewski. Tobiasz Pierz made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Kazimierz Klucznik sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute of the match, Cyryl Traczewski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tobiasz Pierz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by GKS Katowice's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Radomil Jeziorkowski was slow to take the kick. During this time RKS Podkopki Szlachetne's players had a chance to rest. The referee showed Hugon Kaszubik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 89 minutes into the game, Feliks Fleischer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GKS Katowice's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RKS Podkopki Szlachetne the free kick. A collision led to GKS Katowice getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Feliks Fleischer hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Kazimierz Klucznik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RKS Podkopki Szlachetne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Kazimierz Klucznik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobiasz Pierz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ludomil Piesciuk during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute, Ludomil Piesciuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over RKS Podkopki Szlachetne could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than GKS Katowice throughout the match.
