Marian Hejza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikolaj Byczewski having to interfere. After 23 played minutes, Football Lodz's Stanislaw Burowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teobald Dunajski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Football Lodz reached it. Stanislaw Burowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teobald Dunajski. Gregersdorf's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gregersdorf's Marian Hejza couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Football Lodz. When Wincent Czarnecki fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Football Lodz's zone, Tytus Bobrowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikolaj Byczewski came out of the goal and Tytus Bobrowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remigiusz Fedosz to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Football Lodz got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Serapio. After 56 played minutes Gregersdorf got a freekick which was hit by Ludomil Rykaczewski. Remigiusz Fedosz, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience was convinced that Konstanty Czeszyk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikolaj Byczewski was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. 76 minutes into the game, Football Lodz's Remigiusz Fedosz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Football Lodz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gregersdorf the free kick. The supporters of Gregersdorf booed when Football Lodz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacy Sniegowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 minutes of play, Football Lodz's Wincent Czarnecki made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teobald Dunajski was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpected shot in the 97th minute by Konstanty Czeszyk got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
