A collision led to Hornostaje getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Beniamin Gomolka hit a great ball. Hornostaje's Milosz Piekarczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Bădilescu in the 24th minute of play. Hornostaje's Milosz Piekarczyk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Hornostaje from getting a goal against them. Maciej Smuskiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Gierasik in the 32nd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Marathon Kraków's Milosz Piekarczyk threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from David Bădilescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Hornostaje getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Bartlomiej Sikola hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, Edmund Szkarpiak dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Milosz Piekarczyk, 2-0. The audience was convinced that David Bădilescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Milosz Piekarczyk was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Milosz Piekarczyk made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Szymon Zagorski sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute Benedykt Gierasik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maciej Smuskiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Hornostaje defense, David Bădilescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Milosz Piekarczyk. The Hornostaje fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Milosz Piekarczyk should have stopped the shot. Korneliusz Ludwiczak hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Szymon Zagorski made a precise shot to the right of Milosz Piekarczyk. Hornostaje's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After 86 minutes, Jerzy Basinski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marathon Kraków and the Hornostaje players grew even worse after the yellow card. Maciej Smuskiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Gierasik in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szymon Zagorski in the 95th minute of play forced Hornostaje's goalkeeper Milosz Piekarczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Beniamin Gomolka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
