Spectators: 7531 (Terracing: 5687, Seating: 1744, VIP seats: 100) Janusz Czech started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Robert Rozanski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polonia LW's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Rozanski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wlodzimierz Ptaszek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Polonia LW booed when Bowowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkadiusz Hetman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Boruc Pawlik made a precise shot to the right of Wlodzimierz Ptaszek. Bowowice's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucjan Wolniewicz got free with Wlodzimierz Ptaszek in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10thth minute of the game Boruc Lukasik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bowowice's Wlodzimierz Ptaszek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 12th minute Janusz Czech shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafal Wisniewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 14 minutes, Boruc Lukasik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polonia LW's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boruc Lukasik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Bowowice's Wlodzimierz Ptaszek got control of the ball when Robert Rozanski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robert Rozanski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wlodzimierz Ptaszek having to interfere. Rafal Wisniewski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pawel Fafinski went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 31 minutes into the match, Polonia LW's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Czech came free, but Rafal Wisniewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucjan Wolniewicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wlodzimierz Ptaszek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucjan Wolniewicz ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Bowowice's zone, Lucjan Wolniewicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wlodzimierz Ptaszek came out of the goal and Lucjan Wolniewicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bowowice's Wlodzimierz Ptaszek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Bowowice from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Polonia LW booed when Bowowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Kalak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Bowowice defense, Lucjan Wolniewicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wlodzimierz Ptaszek. The Bowowice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wlodzimierz Ptaszek should have stopped the shot. When Robert Rozanski fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polonia LW's protests and gave Robert Rozanski a yellow card for diving instead. Robert Rozanski kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes, Bowowice's Tymoteusz Koperski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rafal Wisniewski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bowowice reached it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 53rd minute, Lucjan Wolniewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wlodzimierz Ptaszek was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Wlodzimierz Ptaszek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boruc Lukasik in the 57th minute of play. Wlodzimierz Ptaszek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boruc Lukasik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60thth minute of the game Lucjan Wolniewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bowowice's Wlodzimierz Ptaszek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arkadiusz Hetman kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The corner led to Polonia LW's Lucjan Wolniewicz getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 64 minutes of play, Polonia LW's Lucjan Wolniewicz made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wlodzimierz Ptaszek was left in no man's land by his defense there! Boruc Lukasik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boruc Lukasik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Boruc Lukasik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Lucjan Wolniewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wlodzimierz Ptaszek was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 73rd minute, Boruc Lukasik left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Polonia LW fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. Polonia LW's Arkadiusz Furlit suffered a sore thigh after 76 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pawel Fafinski during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Polonia LW made a substitution. Janusz Dynda replaced Arkadiusz Furlit. Pawel Fafinski hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Wlodzimierz Ptaszek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucjan Wolniewicz in the 80th minute of the match. Wlodzimierz Ptaszek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Rozanski in the 88th minute of play. In the 90thth minute of the game Milosz Frenzel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bowowice's Wlodzimierz Ptaszek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 97th minute, Polonia LW's Zenon Zworski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zenon Zworski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Polonia LW protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zenon Zworski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 97th minute of the game. One of Polonia LW:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bowowice:s goal. Rafal Wisniewski had in the 99thth minute some difficulties stopping Ziemowit Cizeski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Polonia LW fully deserved thier win.
