An unexpectedly hard shot by Juliusz Wozniak in the 12th minute of play forced Szczyglice's goalkeeper Jonas Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Prestes was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Ulryk Zawadzki capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ulryk Zawadzki really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 16th match minute, LKS Lodz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remo Silva to maneuver through the defense. Wit Dziechciowski came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Szczyglice's Florian Blicharz. But to his dismay, Florian Blicharz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 21 minutes into the game, LKS Lodz's Ulryk Zawadzki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonas Prestes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Szczyglice's Jonas Prestes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Szczyglice from getting a goal against them. Stefan Wolniewicz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonas Prestes came out and tried to block the shot, but Stefan Wolniewicz slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 27th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Florian Blicharz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szczyglice's supporters rose to their feet, but Florian Blicharz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wit Dziechciowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the game, Szczyglice's Dawid Laskowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wit Dziechciowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dawid Laskowski made a kick off. Dawid Laskowski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Wit Dziechciowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 52nd minute Szczyglice were awarded a corner. Tiago Gabriel Silva went to the cornerflag to take it. Victorino Bemabe thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Wit Dziechciowski, a very annoying self made goal in the 53rd minute which led to 3-3. Jonas Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulryk Zawadzki in the 56th minute of the match. After 58 minutes Szczyglice's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benedykt Moczkiewicz who took care of the corner kick. The corner led LKS Lodz's Benedykt Moczkiewicz to fire away a dangerous shot which Jonas Prestes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jonas Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Wolniewicz in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute of the match LKS Lodz got a corner. Szczyglice's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benedykt Moczkiewicz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Stefan Wolniewicz made a great header on LKS Lodz's corner, it was just that Szczyglice's Jonas Prestes managed to reach the ball for a save. LKS Lodz's Wit Dziechciowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save LKS Lodz from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, LKS Lodz's goalkeeper Wit Dziechciowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dawid Laskowski. Jonas Prestes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stefan Wolniewicz went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Szczyglice's Tiago Gabriel Silva got a free kick in the 79th minute. Wit Dziechciowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Blicharz, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 82 played minutes Szczyglice got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Gabriel Silva. Jonas Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulryk Zawadzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Szczyglice's goal looked a bit too open when Juliusz Wozniak came free, but Jonas Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Juliusz Wozniak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonas Prestes was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Szczyglice's zone, Ulryk Zawadzki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Prestes came out of the goal and Ulryk Zawadzki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonas Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Wozniak in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Szczyglice players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for LKS Lodz.
