The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leon Majewski hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. The supporters of FC Lukapool booed when Phoenix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Majewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Lukapool's Lucjan Jaszcz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szczepan Nikodemski in the 10th minute of play. Lucjan Jaszcz came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix's Tobiasz Kaszubowski. But to his dismay, Tobiasz Kaszubowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 14 played minutes FC Lukapool got a freekick which was hit by Ksawery Zawaski. 16 minutes into the game, Tobiasz Kaszubowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Lucjan Jaszcz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Szczepan Nikodemski put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Lucjan Jaszcz. 23 minutes into the game, Maciej Gollob cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Lucjan Jaszcz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bartlomiej Andrychowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Szczepan Nikodemski took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucjan Jaszcz. Lucjan Jaszcz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. FC Lukapool's Lucjan Jaszcz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szczepan Nikodemski in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Phoenix's Maciej Gollob sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lucjan Jaszcz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Szczepan Nikodemski in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucjan Jaszcz saved FC Lukapool from getting behind. Bartlomiej Andrychowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucjan Jaszcz having to interfere. A collision led to FC Lukapool getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Fabian Kieca hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobiasz Kaszubowski in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucjan Jaszcz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 44 minutes into the match, FC Lukapool's goal looked a bit too open when Szczepan Nikodemski came free, but Lucjan Jaszcz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucjan Jaszcz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Szczepan Nikodemski went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The FC Lukapool players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Phoenix were winning 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Szczepan Nikodemski was the one to do the kick off. When Phoenix's Szczepan Nikodemski in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lucjan Jaszcz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Phoenix. Lucjan Jaszcz was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Maciej Gollob capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Maciej Gollob really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. The audience thought a goal was coming when Szczepan Nikodemski got free with Lucjan Jaszcz in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucjan Jaszcz made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Szczepan Nikodemski sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Phoenix's Szczepan Nikodemski got a free kick in the 79th minute. Szczepan Nikodemski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Lucjan Jaszcz made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Maciej Gollob kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lucjan Jaszcz. That made the score 0-9 in the 84 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Szczepan Nikodemski in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucjan Jaszcz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucjan Jaszcz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Szczepan Nikodemski in the 94th minute. The supporters of Phoenix booed when FC Lukapool was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ksawery Dziura didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Szczepan Nikodemski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Phoenix's supporters rose to their feet, but Szczepan Nikodemski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucjan Jaszcz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The FC Lukapool fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Phoenix were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
