Zbyszko Gacek's late challenge caught a Śląsk Wrocław's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zbyszko Gacek helped the player get up and apologised. Damazy Filanowski made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Marcin Wietrzychowski sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Śląsk Wrocław booed when Sevilla FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstanty Domin didn't get a good kick on the ball.
