Cezary Sitko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norbert Myslivec in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the match, KS Gamrat Jasło's goal looked a bit too open when Wieslaw Zawacki came free, but Jerzy Debkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in KS Gamrat Jasło's zone, Wieslaw Zawacki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerzy Debkowski came out of the goal and Wieslaw Zawacki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 33 minutes, Wieslaw Zawacki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MKS Mazur Ełk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wieslaw Zawacki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, MKS Mazur Ełk's David Bitănescu got a free kick in the 37th minute. KS Gamrat Jasło's Artur Lipinski got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cezary Sitko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Biörkquist, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The supporters of MKS Mazur Ełk booed when KS Gamrat Jasło was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacy Dudzik didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Bitănescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jerzy Debkowski. KS Gamrat Jasło's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juliusz Dzierwa was the one to do the kick off. Cezary Sitko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Lipinski, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. KS Gamrat Jasło were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after MKS Mazur Ełk's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eugeniusz Przybylo took the corner. After taking down the ball on KS Gamrat Jasło's corner Eugeniusz Przybylo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cezary Sitko quite easily take care of the ball. With 57 minutes on the clock, Zeru Mezquita commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 56 minutes into the game, one of MKS Mazur Ełk:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cezary Sitko had in the 58thth minute some difficulties stopping Artur Lipinski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. MKS Mazur Ełk made a substitution. Michal Karbownik replaced Patryk Dziczek. Eugeniusz Przybylo made in the 62nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alfred Gieraltowski. 65 minutes into the match, KS Gamrat Jasło's goal looked a bit too open when Juliusz Dzierwa came free, but Jerzy Debkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Garoa Ojesto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Garoa Ojesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cezary Sitko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Lipinski in the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Biörkquist in the 99th minute of play forced MKS Mazur Ełk's goalkeeper Cezary Sitko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 100th minute of the match KS Gamrat Jasło got a corner. MKS Mazur Ełk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eugeniusz Przybylo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Eddie Biörkquist made a great header on KS Gamrat Jasło's corner, it was just that MKS Mazur Ełk's Cezary Sitko managed to reach the ball for a save. KS Gamrat Jasło walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
