Hugon Dzierwa came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by COSMOS's Azli Lim. But to his dismay, Azli Lim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Aquiles Gelacio might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugon Dzierwa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aquiles Gelacio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th minute, Cezary Kluska hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Aquiles Gelacio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The COSMOS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Gelacio in the 19th minute of play forced Orly Trenera's goalkeeper Hugon Dzierwa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Azli Lim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugon Dzierwa having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Aquiles Gelacio made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Orly Trenera's Hugon Dzierwa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cezary Kluska during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of COSMOS booed when Orly Trenera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezary Kluska didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquiles Gelacio in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugon Dzierwa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute, Azli Lim made a precise shot to the right of Hugon Dzierwa. Orly Trenera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Orly Trenera's Hugon Dzierwa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Gelacio in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Orly Trenera's zone, Azli Lim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugon Dzierwa came out of the goal and Azli Lim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the match, Aquiles Gelacio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugon Dzierwa. Orly Trenera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquiles Gelacio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. 46 minutes into the game, Aquiles Gelacio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Hugon Dzierwa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Aquiles Gelacio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-9 to the left of a surprised Hugon Dzierwa 53 minutes into the match. If Azli Lim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquiles Gelacio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Hugon Dzierwa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 68th minute, Aquiles Gelacio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugon Dzierwa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. Hugon Dzierwa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aquiles Gelacio in the 72nd minute. After 73 minutes, Aquiles Gelacio made it 0-12 with a short kick to the right side. Orly Trenera's Hugon Dzierwa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. COSMOS's Nicklas Karlsson was substituted for Aquiles Gelacio. 77 minutes into the game, COSMOS's Isaac Verduin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugon Dzierwa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-13. Hugon Dzierwa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azli Lim, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Nicklas Karlsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Hugon Dzierwa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugon Dzierwa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 93 minutes in the game, Ryszard Cempa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Hugon Dzierwa having to interfere. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 0-15 when Nicklas Karlsson sped through Orly Trenera's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hugon Dzierwa. 97 minutes into the match, Orly Trenera's goalkeeper Hugon Dzierwa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicklas Karlsson.
