Dønski FK's Torjus Juliussen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 3rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fred Haagensen but with some difficulty. Eilert Jespersen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fred Haagensen having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Odin Mostad during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute of the match, Philip Lunde tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fred Haagensen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 14 minutes, Philip Lunde managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dønski FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philip Lunde was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Philip Lunde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Fred Haagensen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ulf-Hendrik Ringheim during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Nykland BK booed when Dønski FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulf-Hendrik Ringheim didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philip Lunde in the 41st minute of play forced Nykland BK's goalkeeper Fred Haagensen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kristian Heggdal was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Nykland BK's Arild Høie got a free kick in the 58th minute. Eilert Jespersen took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fred Haagensen. Fred Haagensen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eilert Jespersen in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fred Haagensen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the game, Dønski FK's Philip Lunde nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fred Haagensen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Philip Lunde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Fred Haagensen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Philip Lunde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fred Haagensen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf-Hendrik Ringheim in the 90th minute of the match. After 92 minutes of play, Nykland BK's Jon Huus made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stig-Inge Kittelsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dønski FK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
