Andfiskaaen IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Øvre Årdal the free kick. After 16 played minutes Andfiskaaen IF got a freekick which was hit by Dan Ohnstad. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Dan Ohnstad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Andfiskaaen IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Dan Ohnstad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kai-Arne Barka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 23 minutes, Jøran Velle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Øvre Årdal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jøran Velle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee showed Bent Kalvik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th match minute, Øvre Årdal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bent Kalvik to maneuver through the defense. Kai-Arne Barka made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Dan Ohnstad sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Andfiskaaen IF's zone, Birger Jøssang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kai-Arne Barka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Ramsvik in the 78th minute of the match. If Per Ramsvik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
