Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rune Hindenes took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Bodda Borg Ballklub's Ole Herdlevær got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 9th match minute, The Wave FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Juul to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of The Wave FC booed when Bodda Borg Ballklub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Runar Hovd didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, The Wave FC's Jim Kapstad got a free kick in the 18th minute. Oscar Westgård took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Espen Nordeng. The Wave FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ole Herdlevær blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Espen Nordeng having to make a save. Ole Herdlevær could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Espen Nordeng made a huge save. Martin Skorstad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Trygve Hofseth during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Trygve Hofseth hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Ole Herdlevær took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Espen Nordeng to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ole Herdlevær stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jim Kapstad during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes The Wave FC got a freekick which was hit by Jim Kapstad. 55 minutes into the match, Ole Herdlevær notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of The Wave FC's Espen Nordeng. Espen Nordeng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ole Herdlevær in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Espen Nordeng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Martin Skorstad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute, Ole Herdlevær made a precise shot to the right of Espen Nordeng. The Wave FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Espen Nordeng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ole Herdlevær, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ole Herdlevær sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ole Herdlevær recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Espen Nordeng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ole Herdlevær, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 92nd match minute, The Wave FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tom Gjerdingen to maneuver through the defense. Ole Herdlevær recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bodda Borg Ballklub fully deserved thier win.
