After 6 minutes, Adam Bakkejord mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AOE Lyssand Hotspur and the Bodda Borg Ballklub players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bodda Borg Ballklub made a substitution. Tarjei Hellem replaced Morten Lydersen. Adam Bakkejord hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Markus Rinde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ole Herdlevær went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 15 minutes, Felix Thomas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bodda Borg Ballklub and the AOE Lyssand Hotspur players grew even worse after the yellow card. Felix Thomas kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halvard Langøy in the 16th minute of play forced Bodda Borg Ballklub's goalkeeper Henrik Bjørvik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to AOE Lyssand Hotspur getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ole-Einar Voldsund hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the game, Felix Thomas lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Markus Rinde. Bodda Borg Ballklub's Ole Herdlevær came free and shot a quick shot against goal 30 minutes in the game, fortunately Markus Rinde had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The supporters of Bodda Borg Ballklub booed when AOE Lyssand Hotspur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ole-Einar Voldsund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Martin Skorstad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Markus Rinde made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Ole Herdlevær sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ole Herdlevær to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ole Herdlevær got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 53 minutes into the match, AOE Lyssand Hotspur's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Skorstad came free, but Markus Rinde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ole Herdlevær scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Markus Rinde, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ole Herdlevær received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Markus Rinde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bodda Borg Ballklub's Henrik Bjørvik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Bodda Borg Ballklub from getting a goal against them. Niklas Flåten charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niklas Flåten the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bodda Borg Ballklub booed when AOE Lyssand Hotspur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niklas Flåten didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Felix Thomas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bodda Borg Ballklub's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Thomas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markus Rinde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Halvard Langøy kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Ole Herdlevær shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Rinde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Markus Rinde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Thomas in the 71st minute of the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Ole Herdlevær managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bodda Borg Ballklub's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ole Herdlevær was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the AOE Lyssand Hotspur defense, Ole Herdlevær kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Markus Rinde. The AOE Lyssand Hotspur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markus Rinde should have stopped the shot. The supporters of AOE Lyssand Hotspur booed when Bodda Borg Ballklub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petter Granly didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Felix Thomas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bodda Borg Ballklub fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Halvard Langøy got free with Henrik Bjørvik in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bodda Borg Ballklub's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
