Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bendik Hognestad started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Botnen got free with Tor-Ivar Hella in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute, Ole-Kristian Fauskanger reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tor-Ivar Hella. The goal made the score 1-0. Ole-Kristian Fauskanger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tor-Ivar Hella having to interfere. Rugland BF's Elias Botnen got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ole-Kristian Fauskanger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Tor-Ivar Hella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ole-Kristian Fauskanger kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tor-Ivar Hella. That made the score 3-0 in the 28 minute of play. Elias Botnen scored 4-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tor-Ivar Hella, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Ekra FF booed when Rugland BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Fossmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bendik Hognestad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andreas Frafjord read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Rugland BF's Ole-Kristian Fauskanger slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tor-Ivar Hella. That made the score 5-0 after 42 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ole-Kristian Fauskanger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Ekra FF's Ruben Stokkan got a free kick in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Elias Botnen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Tor-Ivar Hella was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ole-Kristian Fauskanger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ekra FF's Ruben Stokkan got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Rugland BF's Andreas Frafjord proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Rugland BF from getting a goal against them. Jørgen Ekerhovd's late challenge caught a Ekra FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jørgen Ekerhovd helped the player get up and apologised. Jørgen Ekerhovd hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Ole-Kristian Fauskanger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rugland BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ole-Kristian Fauskanger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tor-Ivar Hella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ole-Kristian Fauskanger, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Ole-Kristian Fauskanger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tor-Ivar Hella having to make a save. Elias Botnen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 93 minutes, Ole-Kristian Fauskanger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rugland BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ole-Kristian Fauskanger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rugland BF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
