After a rather tough play, Lunden's Per-Filip Hatlem got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Per-Filip Hatlem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tord Våge having to interfere. Torgeir Raknes kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 14 minutes of play, Lunden's Per-Filip Hatlem made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tord Våge was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Per-Filip Hatlem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Christoffer Stange hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christoffer Stange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Per-Filip Hatlem struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Tord Våge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lunden. Christer Hagberg hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Lunden's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffer Stange came free, but Eskil Fromreide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Christoffer Stange made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim-André Røen in the 54th minute of play forced Lunden's goalkeeper Eskil Fromreide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lunden's Edvin Kristoffersen got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Christer Hagberg was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. In the 91st match minute, Orkla FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christer Hagberg to maneuver through the defense. Tord Våge acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 92nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emil Kolle. Jim-André Røen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Eskil Fromreide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Torgeir Raknes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Orkla FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lunden the free kick. The supporters of Lunden booed when Orkla FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torgeir Raknes didn't get a good kick on the ball.
