The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Yngvar Kristiansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Are Reigstad having to interfere. TeamName's Johannes Bakke got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Johannes Bakke notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Domination BK's Bent Lindland. Bent Lindland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lars Grønseth kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Johannes Bakke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bent Lindland read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After 30 played minutes, Domination BK's Erik Brønstad shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Are Reigstad came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Domination BK reached it. If Kåre Fossmark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Johannes Bakke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bent Lindland having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Domination BK's Jonathan Halleland got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, TeamName's Kåre Fossmark dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yngvar Kristiansen made a kick off. Are Reigstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yngvar Kristiansen, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Are Reigstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yngvar Kristiansen in the 56th minute of play. After 60 played minutes TeamName got a freekick which was hit by August Ersland. If Edgard Aanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yngvar Kristiansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Are Reigstad having to interfere. In the 68th minute Johannes Bakke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bent Lindland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johannes Bakke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the game, TeamName's Kåre Fossmark nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bent Lindland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Yngvar Kristiansen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Johannes Bakke came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the TeamName fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johannes Bakke couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Yngvar Kristiansen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Domination BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Yngvar Kristiansen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Are Reigstad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Are Reigstad was a little too slow when Yngvar Kristiansen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. TeamName had won after a very even match.
