Kai Wiig took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sigurd Nystuen. Beyene FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Espen Sandaker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morten Soltveit in the 6th minute of play. In the 9th minute Morten Soltveit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Espen Sandaker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Frank Kaldestad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hauge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Espen Sandaker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sture Krogh in the 16th minute of play. In the 29th minute Leon Major shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigurd Nystuen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hauge's Kristian Forberg got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beyene FC's Sigurd Nystuen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Kaldestad in the 34th minute of play. Espen Sandaker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morten Soltveit, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Frank Kaldestad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigurd Nystuen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dagfinn Størseth in the 47th minute of play forced Hauge's goalkeeper Espen Sandaker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Leon Major managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hauge's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Major was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sigurd Nystuen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 59 minutes, Sigurd Nystuen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Kaldestad in the 61st minute of play forced Beyene FC's goalkeeper Sigurd Nystuen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Hauge's goal looked a bit too open when Sture Krogh came free, but Espen Sandaker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beyene FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Frank Kaldestad scored to the left of an out of position Sigurd Nystuen, making the score, 0-3. After 71 played minutes Beyene FC got a freekick which was hit by Dagfinn Størseth. When Frank Kaldestad came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Hauge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Kaldestad couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Beyene FC's Dagfinn Størseth got a free kick in the 77th minute. Kai Wiig could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Sigurd Nystuen made a huge save. Frank Kaldestad's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sigurd Nystuen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Kaldestad in the 82nd minute of play forced Beyene FC's goalkeeper Sigurd Nystuen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Hauge's Frank Kaldestad dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. 88 minutes into the match, Sverre Vinje dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sigurd Nystuen, 0-5. In the 92nd minute, Hauge's Frank Kaldestad ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sigurd Nystuen. Sigurd Nystuen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6.
