Brede Skogland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Jeppe Grønstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brede Skogland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Montanari in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Everton FC N. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Runar Sæbø to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Everton FC N.'s Jeppe Grønstad got a free kick in the 19th minute. Aksel Bøen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Joachim Solvik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Helge Fretheim hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Everton FC N.'s Joachim Solvik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Everton FC N. from getting a goal against them. Joachim Solvik was a little too slow when Andreas Haukaas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-2. Raymond Espe hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Aksel Bøen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Joachim Solvik when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 37th minute, Francesco Montanari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brede Skogland was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. If Catalin Chelaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Egil Marstein stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Everton FC N. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Finn-Christian Evju to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Ole-Gunnar Størdal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Brede Skogland. That made the score 1-4 in the 56 minute of play. A collision led to Everton FC N. getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Finn-Christian Evju hit a great ball. Brede Skogland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francesco Montanari, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the match, Føresvik's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Montanari came free, but Brede Skogland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brede Skogland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeppe Grønstad in the 64th minute of the match. Everton FC N.'s Francesco Montanari got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Catalin Chelaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Francesco Montanari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Føresvik's goalkeeper Brede Skogland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Catalin Chelaru. Brede Skogland came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Everton FC N.'s Jeppe Grønstad. But to his dismay, Jeppe Grønstad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Francesco Montanari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brede Skogland having to interfere. Catalin Chelaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute Jeppe Grønstad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brede Skogland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Ulf-Hendrik Dahlen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Føresvik's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Everton FC N. the free kick. Ulf-Hendrik Dahlen hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. A hard shot 86 in the game by Jeppe Grønstad from a close distance when the talented Brede Skogland managed to make a qualified save. Føresvik's players were relieved. Jeppe Grønstad kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Føresvik defense, Catalin Chelaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brede Skogland. The Føresvik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brede Skogland should have stopped the shot.
