Spectators: 7665 (Terracing: 5750, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Espen Sølvberg started the match with the kick off. Johannes Steinnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Jensen in the 6th minute of the match. Christian Jensen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Steinnes having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Dalbygden FF's goalkeeper Kai Aker had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vegard Sæternes. A collision led to Dalbygden FF getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Erik Bach hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Kai Aker successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 22nd minute, Ole-Gunnar Førre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dalbygden FF's zone, Vegard Sæternes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kai Aker came out of the goal and Vegard Sæternes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kai Aker made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vegard Sæternes in the 34th minute. In the 41st minute Ole-Gunnar Førre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes Steinnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Vegard Sæternes notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Dalbygden FF's Kai Aker. Kai Aker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 52nd minute, Christian Jensen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johannes Steinnes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Gapende Gafler's Johannes Steinnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ole-Gunnar Førre in the 63rd minute of play. Ole-Gunnar Førre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Johannes Steinnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gapende Gafler's Johannes Steinnes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ole-Gunnar Førre in the 76th minute of play. Asbjørn Framnes hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Felix Landa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalbygden FF's Richard Reppen couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gapende Gafler. Johannes Steinnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ole-Gunnar Førre in the 84th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Vegard Sæternes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kai Aker. Dalbygden FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vegard Sæternes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Kai Aker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vegard Sæternes in the 96th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
