Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Trym Kaland successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Bjelland in the 26th minute of play forced Sundheim BK's goalkeeper Jim-André Nyvoll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jim-André Nyvoll stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Bjelland's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Sundheim BK's Frode Corneliussen suffered a sore thigh after 36 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Kjetil-André Todnem fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tilleraune BF's protests and gave Kjetil-André Todnem a yellow card for diving instead. Kjetil-André Todnem hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Jøran Christensen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Trym Kaland made a huge save. 45 minutes into the game, Runar Ferkingstad was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sundheim BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tilleraune BF the free kick. After 46 played minutes Sundheim BK got a freekick which was hit by Runar Ferkingstad. If Lukas Stange had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per-Kristian Høyland made a kick off. Trym Kaland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Kristian Høyland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tilleraune BF booed when Sundheim BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Kristian Høyland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Bjelland did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Jim-André Nyvoll 72 minutes into the match. Sverre Stokkenes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jim-André Nyvoll having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Bjelland in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jim-André Nyvoll prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute Jøran Christensen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trym Kaland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
