Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Fridtjof Sandve kicked off to start the match. Jan-Frode Breistein didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 11th minute. Midbrød's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After 14 minutes, Kevin Viddal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Høstnes and the Midbrød players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Midbrød booed when Høstnes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Viddal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Høstnes's zone, Olaf Braut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vegard Winger came out of the goal and Olaf Braut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Høstnes booed when Midbrød was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Dybvik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41stth minute of the game Olaf Braut who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Høstnes's Vegard Winger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Jan-Frode Breistein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Midbrød's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Frode Breistein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olaf Braut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Vegard Winger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Høstnes's Vegard Winger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Frode Breistein in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Høstnes's goal looked a bit too open when Olaf Braut came free, but Vegard Winger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Frode Breistein struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Vegard Winger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Midbrød. Jan-Frode Breistein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vegard Winger having to interfere. When Jan-Frode Breistein came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Midbrød fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Frode Breistein couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Midbrød players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
