Spectators: 5743 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Brain Dead Familia booed when Midbrød was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Ovesen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Midbrød's zone, Billy Jean-Louis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roy Bastiansen came out of the goal and Billy Jean-Louis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rasmus Tøsse charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rasmus Tøsse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hans-Kristian Diesen took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roy Bastiansen. Roy Bastiansen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hans-Kristian Diesen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Bastiansen having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Hans-Kristian Diesen notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Midbrød's Roy Bastiansen. Roy Bastiansen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Olaf Braut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brain Dead Familia's Wlodzimierz Mindykowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terje Horgen in the 21st minute of play. Midbrød's Olaf Braut got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Terje Horgen came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Midbrød fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Terje Horgen couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Billy Jean-Louis in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roy Bastiansen saved Midbrød from getting behind. Roy Bastiansen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arvid Lorentzen went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Hans-Kristian Diesen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Roy Bastiansen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Olaf Braut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roy Bastiansen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans-Kristian Diesen's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Roy Bastiansen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans-Kristian Diesen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Brain Dead Familia's Hans-Kristian Diesen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roy Bastiansen. Roy Bastiansen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. 57 minutes into the match, Brain Dead Familia's Hans-Kristian Diesen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roy Bastiansen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hans-Kristian Diesen charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Hans-Kristian Diesen hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans-Kristian Diesen in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roy Bastiansen saved Midbrød from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, Billy Jean-Louis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roy Bastiansen. Midbrød's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Billy Jean-Louis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 72nd minute, Jarl Lium hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the game, Billy Jean-Louis lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Roy Bastiansen. Billy Jean-Louis might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roy Bastiansen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Billy Jean-Louis ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Midbrød getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Terje Horgen hit a great ball. Roy Bastiansen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor-Arne Langerud in the 88th minute of play. Midbrød's Roy Bastiansen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans-Kristian Diesen in the 90th minute of play. Wlodzimierz Mindykowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terje Horgen, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Rasmus Tøsse kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Hans-Kristian Diesen struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Roy Bastiansen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brain Dead Familia. The Brain Dead Familia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Brain Dead Familia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
