Thanks to some nice moves Peter Hollis could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Kåre Josefsen however easily saved by the left post. Montessori Warriors were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Kobrakameratene's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tor-Magnus Skogvold took the corner. Peter Hollis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 16th playminute. When Martin Raaen fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montessori Warriors's protests and gave Martin Raaen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Kobrakameratene booed when Montessori Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Raaen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felice Baratta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svein Langdalen, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Felice Baratta went to the wrong direction when Halvdan Smistad was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Kåre Josefsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Ursino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Ursino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute Vegard Fretheim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felice Baratta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vegard Fretheim was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Kobrakameratene got a freekick which was hit by Halvdan Smistad. With a little luck, Montessori Warriors's Felice Baratta got control of the ball when Tore Stokstad tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Kobrakameratene getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Halvdan Smistad hit a great ball. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Montessori Warriors's goalkeeper Felice Baratta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Kobrakameratene booed when Montessori Warriors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aslak Torland didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Aslak Torland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes in the game, Vegard Fretheim fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Felice Baratta having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Leon Yttervik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montessori Warriors's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Yttervik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kåre Josefsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Halvdan Smistad hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 84thth minute of the game Erik Røssland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kobrakameratene's Kåre Josefsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leon Yttervik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Kåre Josefsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aslak Torland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 91 minutes, Leon Yttervik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montessori Warriors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Yttervik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leon Yttervik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th match minute, Kobrakameratene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars-Olav Torgersen to maneuver through the defense. Montessori Warriors's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
