Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cato Jensrud kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the match, Raagrend IF's goalkeeper Lars-Olav Sørhus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Karlsen. Adrian Karlsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars-Olav Sørhus having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Enger in the 13th minute of play forced STEAUA's goalkeeper Hans-Petter Vestby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John-Edvin Vestnes kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 20 minutes, Severin Høie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Raagrend IF and the STEAUA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, Severin Høie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in STEAUA's zone, John-Edvin Vestnes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans-Petter Vestby came out of the goal and John-Edvin Vestnes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to STEAUA getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Peter Isaksen hit a great ball. After 34 played minutes Raagrend IF got a freekick which was hit by John-Edvin Vestnes. In the 39th minute Cato Jensrud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Olav Sørhus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Karlsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars-Olav Sørhus having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Raagrend IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John-Edvin Vestnes to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes Raagrend IF got a freekick which was hit by Severin Høie. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robert Enger to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, STEAUA's Cato Jensrud sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lars-Olav Sørhus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. John-Edvin Vestnes kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If Adrian Karlsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Cato Jensrud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Olav Sørhus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Raagrend IF's Severin Høie ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hans-Petter Vestby. Hans-Petter Vestby yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. STEAUA's Hans-Petter Vestby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Enger in the 75th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Bjørn Josefsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raagrend IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Bjørn Josefsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans-Petter Vestby breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to STEAUA getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Cato Jensrud hit a great ball. Lars-Olav Sørhus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Karlsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 minutes of play Raagrend IF's Severin Høie was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Raagrend IF's Severin Høie got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 84 played minutes Raagrend IF got a freekick which was hit by Christian Omdal. Isak Wallin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lars-Olav Sørhus. Raagrend IF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Raagrend IF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
