In the 40th minute, Carl Nyheim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egil Bekkevold got free with William Bratberg in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Egil Bekkevold had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Carl Nyheim made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Bjørnar Lausund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oplö's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dæff FK the free kick. Bjørnar Lausund hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 56th minute, Sivert Tandberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Oplö's William Bratberg didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Runar Kvalsund in the 60th minute of play forced Dæff FK's goalkeeper Erik Rystad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Rystad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Nyheim in the 62nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Erik Rystad successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dæff FK's Erik Rystad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Nyheim in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Espen Normann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mats Eie's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Erik Rystad skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 77th minute Carl Nyheim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Rystad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Carl Nyheim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Erik Rystad managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Oplö's Mats Eie fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mats Eie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Erik Rystad made a huge save. If Mats Eie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Oplö's Mats Eie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erik Rystad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mats Eie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Oplö players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Dæff FK from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
