In the 5th minute of the match Sivert Tandberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zbyszko Oborski skillfully saved the ball. Erik Rystad stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Josef Kielland's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Josef Kielland might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erik Rystad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Josef Kielland ran back to his position shaking his head. Josef Kielland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Erik Rystad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bent Skagen came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the TsF Rognan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bent Skagen couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, TsF Rognan's goal looked a bit too open when Egil Bekkevold came free, but Zbyszko Oborski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egil Bekkevold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asbjørn Grude's late challenge caught a TsF Rognan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Asbjørn Grude helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dæff FK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 33rd minute. Penalty! Erik Rystad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bent Skagen, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Josef Kielland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Erik Rystad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dæff FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Josef Kielland scored to the left of an out of position Erik Rystad, making the score, 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Josef Kielland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Josef Kielland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of TsF Rognan booed when Dæff FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egil Bjørke didn't get a good kick on the ball. TsF Rognan's Zbyszko Oborski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save TsF Rognan from getting a goal against them. The supporters of TsF Rognan booed when Dæff FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Espen Normann didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Josef Kielland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TsF Rognan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Zbyszko Oborski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kåre Ludviksen in the 68th minute of the match. Kåre Ludviksen might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zbyszko Oborski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kåre Ludviksen ran back to his position shaking his head. Egil Bekkevold's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zbyszko Oborski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, TsF Rognan's Josef Kielland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erik Rystad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Egil Bjørke kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, TsF Rognan's goal looked a bit too open when Kåre Ludviksen came free, but Zbyszko Oborski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in TsF Rognan's zone, Egil Bekkevold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zbyszko Oborski came out of the goal and Egil Bekkevold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frederick Velkeneers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Josef Kielland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Rystad having to interfere. After 89 minutes of play, TsF Rognan's Bent Skagen made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erik Rystad was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute, Josef Kielland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TsF Rognan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Erik Rystad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josef Kielland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frederick Velkeneers hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that TsF Rognan were the better team. TsF Rognan's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
