Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The referee ignored Tenvik's protests and gave Jostein Åsebø a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th minute, Jostein Åsebø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomas Rustad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenneth Hebnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Christian Klev came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Breakdown Squad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Klev couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Karlsen during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Tenvik getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Alex Karlsen hit a great ball. Benjamin Moholt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Rustad having to interfere. After 26 played minutes Tenvik got a freekick which was hit by Jostein Åsebø. Thomas Rustad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Dahlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Breakdown Squad booed when Tenvik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf-Inge Jelstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Christian Klev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thomas Rustad was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Tenvik's Thomas Rustad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Moholt in the 39th minute of play. Thomas Rustad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rune Dahlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Henrik Nordeide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Liverød having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpected shot in the 52nd minute by Rune Dahlberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Christian Klev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Thomas Rustad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tenvik's Thomas Rustad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Klev in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Sigurd Jenssen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benjamin Moholt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Breakdown Squad's Steffen Lund was substituted for Morten Tande. Tenvik's Thomas Rustad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geir Jespersen in the 71st minute of play. Christian Klev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Breakdown Squad's Christian Klev slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Thomas Rustad. That made the score 0-1 after 83 minutes of play. Alex Karlsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thomas Rustad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Klev in the 91st minute of play. Christian Klev had several of the Tenvik's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 92 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Thomas Rustad as he didn't even see the shot coming. With a little luck, Tenvik's Thomas Rustad got control of the ball when Christian Klev tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Breakdown Squad left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tenvik.
